Our Journey

How Health Carers Hub grew from a vision to a comprehensive support organization

2018

The Beginning

Anne Thokozani Ncube founded Health Carers Hub after recognizing the critical need for specialized support for TBI caregivers in Zimbabwe. Started as a small support group meeting in local churches.

2019

First Training Programs

Launched our first caregiver training programs in partnership with local hospitals. Developed specialized curriculum for pre- and post-discharge support based on international best practices.

2020

Expanding Services

Added spiritual counseling and respite services. Established our first permanent office at 62 Cork Road, Avondale, Harare. Began offering 24/7 crisis support.

2021

Community Impact

Reached milestone of supporting 200+ families. Launched material support programs and assistive device subsidies. Expanded peer support network across multiple communities.

2023-2025

Digital Transformation

Launched online support services and virtual training programs. Reached 500+ families served. Developed partnerships with international brain injury organizations for enhanced service delivery.
